About the Aerospace Education Corporation
Aerospace Education Corporation is a not-for-profit organization created by members of the Long Island aviation community, to promote aviation education to Long Island students. Aviation related jobs represent a major source of employment on Long Island, but there is a shortage of educated workers. AEC exposes students to the different career opportunities available to them on Long Island.
In 2006 AEC was recognized by the FAA Eastern Region and received the Regional Administrator's Award for Extraordinary Service.
