School Information and Registration
Aviation related jobs represent a major source of employment on Long Island. Bring your students for a face-to-face meeting with professionals in this exciting industry. Students will be able to walk among many exhibit booths, aircraft static displays, and speak directly with aviation training schools, as well as aviation professionals currently working in the careers listed below.
Students will learn about the required training, education options, application process and job responsibilities that make up this dynamic industry. The event will be open to schools in and around Long Island. There were 2,600 attendees at the last event and we are expecting close to 3,000 students to attend this two-day event on October 2-3, 2014. For this reason, please submit your information as early as possible to secure attendance to this event, as preference for days will be given on a first come first serve basis. AEC does reserve the right to ask a school to attend on their “non-preferred” date. Due to the overwhelming attendance we have had at our previous events, AEC is limited with the amount of attendees it can accommodate at any given time. It is for this reason, we ask for the schools to send in their information early. Transportation to the airport will be the responsibility of the participating school districts.
Please be sure to contact your district’s bus company early to reserve the dates.
